World club football odds, predictions: Arsenal vs. Liverpool Over 2.5 Goals is part of expert's weekend parlay that would pay almost 10-1

Jim Holliman, who has been following the beautiful game for more than four decades, offers his best bets from soccer around the world for a parlay for Oct. 8-10 that would pay off at nearly 10-1

Some huge showdowns are on the agenda this weekend as world football moves closer to the World Cup in Qatar next month. Arsenal aim to hang on to the top spot in the English Premier League table as they host Liverpool on Sunday at Emirates Stadium (11:30 a.m. ET). In Germany's Bundelsiga, Der Klassiker is on tap Saturday, with Bayern Munich visiting Borussia Dortmund (12:30 p.m. ET) as the fight for positioning near the top of the table. In Italy's Serie A, AC Milan hosts AC Milan on Saturday (Noon ET) as the teams try to find their footing. The MLS wraps up its regular season Sunday, with every team in action on Sunday as the final playoff spots are decided.

Arsenal are a slight +155 favorite in the Arsenal vs. Liverpool match, with the Reds priced at +160 and a draw listed at +265, according to Caesars Sportsbook. Bayern Munich is a -155 favorite against Dortmund, who are +330, and a draw is priced at +370 at Caesars. (For complete soccer coverage and more expert picks, check out our soccer analysis pages)

There are many other matches, and each one offers numerous options for bettors to cash in. The paydays can be even bigger if you combine your favorite picks into a parlay. Before you make any soccer picks or parlays, you really have to see what soccer expert Jim Holliman has to say.

Holliman has been a writer and editor for nearly 25 years and grew up with soccer in his blood. He played competitvely through high school and has been following the game closely since the 1970's heyday of the North American Soccer League. His interest has expanded worldwide, and his betting approach is centered on crunching the numbers, but he sees the whole field and relies on his instinct. He is 8-13-1 through his first six weeks of picks for SportsLine.

Holliman has scoured the soccer schedules for Oct. 8-10 and has found value in four best bets. If you combine these four picks into a parlay, you could earn a payout of almost 10-1! The first matchup in the parlay doesn't start until Saturday at 3 p.m. ET, so there is plenty of time for you to make your soccer picks.

We can tell you that one of the picks Holliman loves is Over 2.5 Goals (-160) in Arsenal vs. Liverpool. Both teams will be fired up, with the Gunners in a battle at the top of the table and Liverpool trying to get back in the title race. Both teams are averaging well over two goals per game, and the Reds will be looking to make a statement, which could "leave them vulnerable in the back," Holliman says.

Holliman has three other picks in his parlay that would pay nearly 10-1, including a CONFIDENT play on a critical match for MLS playoff positioning. If you combine these picks into the four-leg parlay, you can cash in HUGE! You ABSOLUTELY need to see the expert's predictions before you lock in any soccer picks or parlays of your own.
