There are four MLB playoff games Friday and the first is Game 2 of the American League Division Series between the Chicago White Sox and Houston Astros. First pitch from Minute Maid Park is 2:07 p.m. ET and shown on the MLB Network. Giolito finished the season very strong, though, with nine straight outings allowing three earned or fewer. He hasn't personally lost since Aug. 15. Giolito was actually better on the road (7-3, 3.25 ERA) than at home (4-6, 3.81 ERA). His lone 2021 start vs. Houston was a complete-game victory on the South Side on July 17, allowing one run and three hits.
