USWNT vs. New Zealand odds, picks: Best bets and predictions for Tuesday's friendly from esteemed soccer expert

Sports betting expert Jon Eimer, up more than $2,800 on Premier League predictions since the start of 2022, has locked in his selections for the international friendly between the U.S. Women's National Team and New Zealand on Tuesday

The U.S. Women's National Team begin 2023 on Tuesday with the first of two international friendies against New Zealand. The sides last met in the 2022 SheBelieves Cup on Feb. 20, with the USWNT cruising to a 5-0 victory. The Americans are 17-1-1 in the all-time series and riding an 18-game unbeaten streak after losing the first meeting in 1987.

Kickoff at Sky Stadium in Wellington, New Zealand is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET. The USWNT are listed as -1200 favorites (risk $1200 to win $100) in the latest USA vs. New Zealand odds from Ceasars Sportsbook, while New Zealand are +1400 underdogs. A 90-minute draw is set at +800. (For more soccer coverage, click here.)

Before you make any New Zealand vs. USWNT picks or soccer predictions, you NEED to see what soccer insider Jon "Buckets" Eimer has to say.

Eimer is a high-volume bettor who has vast knowledge of leagues and players across the globe. Since joining SportsLine, Eimer has covered the English Premier League, Serie A, the FA Cup and much more.

He has been on fire on his Premier League predictions for SportsLine, going 28-4 on his past 32 picks, making him 59-25-1 (69%) since the start of 2022. That has meant a profit of more than $2,800 for $100 bettors. He is 308-291-8 on all picks on SportsLine since the start of 2022. Anyone who follows him is WAY UP!

Eimer knows the USWNT will be without Megan Rapinoe and Sophia Smith, who led the squad with 11 goals in 2022, due to minor injuries. But veteran star forward Alex Morgan is expected to be on the pitch and will be looking to add to her team-leading total of 119 tallies in international play. The Americans uncharacteristically have lost three of their last four matches, scoring two goals overall in the defeats, but have racked up at least five in each of their last four meetings with New Zealand.

The expert also has taken into account that New Zealand are winless in their last three matches, scoring just once in that stretch. The Football Ferns were kept off the scoresheet in losses to Japan and South Korea before forward Olivia Chance ended the drought in the 13th minute of a 1-1 draw against the South Koreans on Nov. 15. Prior to their current slump, New Zealand posted victories against Philippines and Mexico while battling Wales to a draw, allowing a total of one goal during that span.

Eimer has taken an in-depth look at the USA vs. New Zealand match. He expects the USWNT to win and has made two other CONFIDENT best bets and has a full breakdown of this international friendly showdown. You ABSOLUTELY need to see his picks and analysis before making any selections of your own.
