The USMNT announced its 26-man roster for the 2022 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday, and the Americans will be stacked with young playmakers in Qatar. Christian Pulisic (Chelsea), Weston McKinnie (Juventus), Tyler Adams (Leeds United) and Gio Reyna (Borussia Dortmund) are among the notable names heading to the World Cup 2022. Walker Zimmerman (Nashville SC), DeAndre Yedlin (Inter Miami) and Jesus Ferreira (FC Dallas) are among the nine players from the MLS that will represent the U.S. in Qatar.
The USMNT failed to qualify for the 2018 edition in Russia, so fans across the nation are eager to see how the Americans fare this time around. The U.S. will square off against England, Iran and Wales in Group B at the World Cup 2022. Gregg Berhalter's men will kick off against Wales on Nov. 21, followed by a Black Friday showdown against England (Nov. 25) and a matchup with Iran on Nov. 29.
