Thursday Night Football, Jaguars vs. Bengals line, odds: Jacksonville expert reveals pick for AFC clash

Mike Tierney, who is 25-12 in his last 37 against-the-spread picks involving Jacksonville, has released his pick for the Thursday Night Football matchup between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Cincinnati Bengals

The Jacksonville Jaguars will look to snap an 18-game losing streak when they take on the Cincinnati Bengals in an AFC matchup on Thursday Night Football. Kickoff from Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati is set for 8:20 p.m. ET. Cincinnati is a 7.5-point favorite in the latest Jaguars vs. Bengals odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total points scored is 46.

Before making any Jaguars vs. Bengals picks or any other NFL Week 4 predictions, you NEED to see which side SportsLine expert Mike Tierney is on.

A national sportswriter whose work appears in The New York Times and Los Angeles Times, Tierney has covered the NFL for decades and reported from seven Super Bowls.

He's used his experience to crush the NFL, going 187-147 against the spread the past three seasons. In addition, Tierney is an incredible 25-12 on his last 37 picks involving Jacksonville. Anyone who has followed him is WAY UP.

Tierney knows the Jaguars (0-3) are coming off a 31-19 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Jacksonville is led by the top pick in this year's NFL Draft, quarterback Trevor Lawrence. He completed 22-of-34 passes (season-high 64.7 percent) for 219 yards and one touchdown against Arizona. He was picked off twice, but rushed for a season-high 27 yards last week.

Tierney also knows Cincinnati is led by quarterback Joe Burrow, the top pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. He completed 14-of-18 passes (career high 77.8 percent) for 172 yards, three touchdowns and one interception for a rating of 122.9 against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Burrow is one of three AFC quarterbacks with two or more touchdown passes in three games in 2021.

Now, Tierney has locked in another confident against-the-spread pick for Jaguars vs. Bengals. We can tell you he's leaning Under, but he knows a crucial X-factor makes one side of the spread a MUST-BACK! You ABSOLUTELY need to see what it is before locking in any picks of your own.
