Temple vs. Cincinnati odds, picks: Line and predictions for Friday's matchup from proven model

The SportsLine Projection Model is on a 12-4 run on its top-rated college football picks, and now it has simulated the meeting between the Owls and the fifth-ranked Bearcats 10,000 times and revealed its results

The fifth-ranked Cincinnati Bearcats (4-0) will try to avoid a major letdown Friday night when they host the Temple Owls (3-2) in an American Athletic Conference matchup at Nippert Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET.

The Bearcats are 30-point favorites in the latest Temple vs. Cincinnati odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total points scored is 53. (See the latest college football lines for all of this week's games on our college football odds page.)

Before you make any Temple vs. Cincinnati picks or college football predictions, you need to see what the SportsLine Projection Model has to say.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every FBS college football game 10,000 times. Over the past five-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated a stunning profit of almost $3,400 for $100 players on its top-rated college football picks against the spread. It also enters Week 6 of the 2021 season on a 12-4 run on all top-rated college football side picks. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The Bearcats come in off a rousing 24-13 victory at Notre Dame and will try to do everything they can to prove they deserve a playoff spot. They are scoring more than 38 points per game while allowing just 14.5, and they have a balanced offense and ferocious defense. Desmond Ridder has more than 1,000 passing yards and has accounted for 12 TDs, while the defense has forced 12 turnovers.

The Owls, meanwhile, are led by quarterback D'Wan Mathis, who threw for 322 yards and three TDs and ran for 53 yards in last week's 34-31 win against Memphis. Temple has three receivers with more than 170 yards, led by Jose Barbon with 21 catches for 280. Linebacker William Kwenkeu is a playmaker on the defensive side, posting three sacks, forcing a fumble and recovering one.

Now the model has simulated Temple vs. Cincinnati 10,000 times, and the results are in. We can tell you that the model is leaning Over on the total, and it also says one side of the spread hits in nearly 60 percent of simulations. You absolutely need to see it before locking in your own picks.
