Seattle Seahawks-Arizona Cardinals Projected Final Score Revealed
Let’s face it, Seattle blew it.
The Seahawks committed 16 penalties, kicker Blair Walsh missed three field goals, and they lost 17-14 to the Redskins on Sunday to fall to 5-3 on the season and snap a four-game win streak.
The defeat isn’t a season-killer, but it does put the team one game behind the NFC West-leading Rams.
SportsLine data engineer Stephen Oh notes that the Seahawks’ chances of winning the division is 40.3 percent, and they have a 66.7-percent chance of qualifying for the playoffs.
A win over Washington would have given them a 56.8-percent division title chance, and 86.5-percent playoff chance.

While Thursday night’s game at Arizona is important for the Seahawks, it’s everything to the Cardinals.
Arizona is 4-4 and in third place in the West, within shouting distance of the Rams and Seahawks. But a loss on Thursday puts the Cards in an uphill climb the rest of the way.
They have won two of three but forge on without injured QB Carson Palmer. Drew Stanton got the start, played the role of game manager and it worked in a 20-10 win over the 49ers.
Eleven-year veteran and future Hall of Fame RB Adrian Peterson was handed a career-high 37 carries and he responded for 159 yards in the victory.
Expect more of AP against the Seahawks’ 14th-ranked run defense.
Seattle’s offense, meanwhile, has shown signs of dominance but may not be as good as advertised.
While the Seahawks rank fourth in yards gained, they're 10th in scoring (23.6 per game).
The team scored four TDs each in high-scoring wins over the Texans and Colts, and 11 TDs in its other six games combined, an average of less than two per game. The run game has fewer TDs (2) than the defense (3).
