Seahawks vs. Giants betting preview: Odds, picks, props, trends, injuries, weather and more for Monday Night Football Week 4 matchup

Before you lock in your plays for Monday's Seattle at New York Giants game, check out our full betting preview.

The New York Giants (1-2) are still looking for their first points scored at home this year as they host the Seattle Seahawks (2-1) on Monday night to conclude Week 4 in a meeting of NFC playoff teams from last season. It's their first-ever Monday Night Football matchup. As in New York's Week 3 game, the big question is whether Pro Bowl running back Saquon Barkley will play. He didn't suit up last Thursday and doesn't look likely to on Monday. There's just the one Monday night game this week (shown on ESPN and ABC) with no more doubleheaders on the schedule until mid-December.

This marks the third primetime matchup in four weeks for the Giants, with neither of the first two going well for them, and their first of three Monday games this season. They will host two Monday night games in the same season for the second time in the 54-year history of MNF. New York's Daniel Jones has surpassed Minnesota's Kirk Cousins as the No. 1 QB to fade at night. Jones' 1-11 record in primetime games is the worst by any starting QB since the 1970 merger with a minimum of 10 starts.

Seattle certainly catches a break in that this game was scheduled at night and not for a dreaded 10 a.m. Pacific kick on Sunday. The game comes ahead of the Seahawks' bye week. Seattle is 9-1 straight up and 7-3 against the spread in its past 10 before a bye week. That SU loss came last year at Tampa Bay. It's a homecoming of sorts for ex-Jets and Giants QB Geno Smith, who has rejuvenated his career in the Pacific Northwest as the 2022 NFL Comeback Player of the Year and is off to another fine start. All Giants fans remember the infamous Eli Manning benching game in 2017 in which Smith started in Oakland.

We'll take you through every aspect of the Seahawks-Giants Monday night game that you need to know before you lock in your bets, including SportsLine expert picks, props, trends, injury information and everything else that will help you know which plays are worth making for the primetime matchup.
