The F1 season kicks into high gear Sunday with the 2019 Monaco Grand Prix. The green flag drops at 9:10 a.m. ET. The SportsLine Projection Model has simulated this huge event 10,000 times to come up with a surprising projected leaderboard.

Developed by DFS pro and SportsLine predictive data engineer Mike McClure, this proprietary F1 prediction computer model simulates every race 10,000 times, taking factors such as track history and recent results into account. Earlier in the year, it nailed Lewis Hamilton winning the Bahrain Grand Prix. Now the model has turned its attention to Monaco and revealed its picks.

For the 2019 Monaco Grand Prix, we can tell you that the model is high on Alexander Albon, who is going off as a huge long shot at 1000-1. Another surprise: The model is fading Pierre Gasly of Red Bull Racing, one of the Vegas favorites. There are better values than the 10-1 odds he's getting.

The model has also made the call on which Team Mercedes driver has more upside and has found three other drivers with ASTRONOMICAL quadruple-digit odds that make a run at the title. Anybody who hits on any of these massive long shots could hit it HUGE.
