No. 3 Alabama vs. No. 6 Tennessee odds, line: Advanced college football computer model reveals picks for Saturday's SEC showdown

SportsLine's projection model has generated selections for the SEC contest between the Crimson Tide and Volunteers

The No. 3 Alabama Crimson Tide hope to have quarterback Bryce Young on the field as they look to extend the longest winning streak in the Third Saturday in October rivalry to 16 games when they visit the sixth-ranked Tennessee Volunteers in an SEC matchup on Saturday. The reigning Heisman Trophy winner, Young missed last week's 24-20 triumph over Texas A&M with a shoulder injury though he appears to have a good chance to return against the Volunteers, who haven't defeated Alabama (6-0, 3-0 SEC) since 2006. Tennessee (5-0, 2-0) is coming off a 40-13 victory at then-No. 25 LSU.

Kickoff at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tenn. is set for 3:30 p.m. ET. The Crimson Tide are 9-point favorites in the latest Alabama vs. Tennessee odds, while the over/under for total points scored is 67.5. Saturday's game can be seen live on CBS and streamed live on Paramount+ with their must-have Premium plan.

Before making any Tennessee vs. Alabama picks or college football predictions, you NEED to see the predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The model simulates every FBS college football game 10,000 times. Over the past six-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated a stunning profit of almost $3,000 for $100 players on its top-rated college football picks against the spread. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows Alabama owns a 58-38-7 record in the all-time series and is 27-20-1 at Knoxville. Coach Nick Saban has won 17 of his 18 career meetings with the Volunteers, including all 15 with the Crimson Tide. Freshman quarterback Jalen Milroe recorded three touchdown passes last week in place of Young, who threw for 371 yards and two touchdowns while also running for a pair of scores against Tennessee last season.

The model also knows Tennessee is first in the nation in total offense with an average of 547.8 yards and is one of three teams in the country that has scored at least 34 points in every game this season. Senior quarterback Hendon Hooker looks to extend a pair of streaks as he's thrown a school-record 239 consecutive passes without an interception and a touchdown toss in 17 straight games, one shy of the Volunteers record set by Heath Shuler (1992-94). Junior running back Jabari Small has gained 217 yards on 41 carries in his last two outings after rushing 25 times for 94 yards over his first three contests this year.

Now, the model has set its sights on Alabama vs. Tennessee. We can tell you it is leaning Under on the total, and it also says one side of the spread hits well over 50% of the time! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any college football picks.
