No. 13 Oklahoma vs. Iowa State college football odds, picks: Advanced computer model reveals picks for Saturday's Big 12 clash

The SportsLine Projection Model, which is up almost $3,500 over the past five-plus years, has simulated the conference battle between the Sooners and Cyclones 10,000 times

The 13th-ranked Oklahoma Sooners (9-1, 6-1) look to bounce back from their first loss in 18 games when they host the Iowa State Cyclones (6-4, 4-3) for a Big 12 showdown on Saturday. Kickoff from Memorial Stadium in Norman, Okla. is scheduled for noon ET.

The Sooners are 3.5-point favorites in the latest Oklahoma vs. Iowa State odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total points scored is 59. (See the latest college football lines for all of this week's games on our college football odds page.)

Before you consider your Iowa State vs. Oklahoma picks or college football predictions, you need to see what the SportsLine Projection Model has to say.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every FBS college football game 10,000 times. Over the past five-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated a stunning profit of almost $3,500 for $100 players on its top-rated college football picks against the spread. It also enters Week 12 of the 2021 season on a 36-23 run on all top-rated college football side picks. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows Oklahoma's 27-14 loss at then-No. 13 Baylor last week was its first since a 37-30 setback at Iowa State in its third game of the 2020 season. The Sooners avenged that defeat with a 27-21 triumph over the Cyclones in last year's conference title game, improving to 77-7-2 in the all-time series. Oklahoma is 16-2 against Iowa State in the Big 12 era, and 13 of its last 15 victories have been by double digits.

The model also knows Iowa State is coming off its third loss in four games, a 41-38 setback at Texas Tech. Breece Hall was limited to 51 rushing yards but ran for a pair of touchdowns and also hauled in a scoring pass. The junior is sixth in the nation in rushing with 1,172 yards and has run for at least one TD in all 10 of the Cyclones' games this season.

Now the model has simulated Oklahoma vs. Iowa State 10,000 times, and the results are in. We can tell you that the model is leaning Over on the total, and it also says one side of the spread hits well over 50 percent of the time. You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in your own picks.
