NFL Week 3 betting preview: Patriots-Jets and more early picks from Jason La Canfora

NFL insider Jason La Canfora shares his initial picks and lines to watch for Week 3 of the 2024 NFL season.

It was a mixed bag for us in Week 2. We crushed the Thursday Night game again and have a play we really like for this week in that window. But we were way off on the Rams, and the Ravens allowed more points to the Raiders than we figured to get that game Over.

It's been a solid start to the season overall, and we are playing it pretty tight here as well. We were looking long and hard at Baltimore on the money line at Dallas before the offensive imploded even further on Sunday, giving us more pause. And we were strongly considering grabbing the Lions -4.5 as well, but that will depend on injuries through the week. The Cardinals also found a gear we didn't know they had on Sunday, which is going to mean we're going to delay plays on that game until we do more work.

But there are three games that we jumped on early, as we expect to see more than a little line movement as we get closer to kickoff.
