NFL Week 11 teasers: Proven NFL expert ranks top teaser options, plus why not to back the Bills

R.J. White, who finished up more than 35 units on NFL ATS picks from 2017-22, shares his top teaser plays for Week 11

Our top teaser struggled for a second straight week, with the Titans doing absolutely nothing on offense in Tampa to keep the game close. Our top teaser leg was the Vikings, and they not only covered the teaser but won the game outright. Considering their spread against the Broncos this week, you can bet they feature into our teaser leg rankings for Week 11.

If you've read my other content or followed my picks, you likely already know I've been SportsLine's No. 1 NFL against-the-spread expert over the last six years, going 535-450-30 against the spread to put me up more than 35 units on those picks at SportsLine since 2017. When it comes to teasers, we stress focusing on the options that go through Teaser Alley and ideally lining up with sides you already like against the main number.

If you don't know what Teaser Alley is, read on to find out. Even if you do, I'll go through every game where I believe there's a teaseable number, give you my analysis of whether it's worth putting in our bucket of potential plays, and then ranking those plays at the end, with the top two representing the best teaser play you can make this week. But if you disagree with any of the analysis for those two teaser legs, you have all the info you need to find other teaser-worthy options.

One team I would suggest avoiding in teasers is the Bills. They responded to the Monday night loss by firing their offensive coordinator. It was a curious move considering the offense hasn't been the problem aside from a couple extra turnovers that can't really be blamed on the guy calling plays. It's a team in turmoil, once that is able to lose a game on primetime at home despite gaining nearly three more yards per play than the opposition. It feels like any team in the league has a shot against Buffalo in any given week right now.

And that's bad news, considering the team that has consistently given the Bills the most trouble is coming to town. The Jets lost Aaron Rodgers in the first drive of the season but found a way to beat Buffalo by leaning on the defense as Josh Allen committed several bad turnovers. That could be the formula for winning this game too, with Zach Wilson not having to carry the offense if he's never backed up on his side of the field. If Sean McDermott has lost the locker room, it's hard to see the Bills fighting back when met with adversity, and that's been the Jets' M.O. in each of the last three meetings between these teams. For that reason, I have a hard time trusting my power ratings, which say this line should be two points higher, because I'm not even confident the Bills will win the game.

Now let's get to the teaser legs I do think are worth considering.
