NFL futures: Updated model projections, Week 3 power rankings, Super Bowl value picks and more

With Week 2 in the books, the SportsLine Projection Model has simulated the season 10,000 times and has some surprising futures projections.

If there was any remaining doubt about the Bills being the class of the NFL, it went away in a hurry on Monday night. Buffalo didn't just beat the Tennessee -- the Titans were all but run off the field to the tune of 41-7. The Bills have now beaten their first two opponents by a combined score of 62-17, with their first win coming against a Rams team that just got done celebrating a Super Bowl win. And let's not forget, the Titans were the top seed in the AFC last year. It's not like the Bills just walloped two also-rans. These are good teams that Buffalo just pantsed on national television

So yes, spoiler alert -- the Bills have moved atop our power rankings. What can we say? Josh Allen is a cyborg. Stefon Diggs is the truth. This Buffalo defense is hilarious. Until further notice, the Bills are the team to beat.

Updated NFL futures odds from Caesars Sportsbook list the Bills as the favorite to win a ring at +400, followed by the Buccaneers and Chiefs, both at +700. The dangerous-looking Eagles are +1300. The reigning champs, the Rams, and the Packers are both +1400.

Before you place any futures bets on who wins the Super Bowl and each conference or division, you need to see what the SportsLine Projection Model has to say.

The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up more than $7,000 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception. The model enters Week 3 of the 2022 NFL season on an incredible 139-102 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past six years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94% of CBS Sports Football Pick'em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

Below, you can find the power ranking for all 32 teams based on the model's "neutral sim%," which is calculated based on the number of simulations they win playing healthy (in February) vs. every other team on a neutral field. You'll also find the simulation's projection for how often each team wins their division, conference and the Super Bowl, compared to the current available odds, along with notes from the model's creator, Stephen Oh.

How high did the Cowboys climb after their Week 2 win? What do the projections think of the upstart Giants? And which team is the best value to win the Super Bowl? ...
