K.C. stands 6-1 straight-up in its last seven outings but winless against the spread. Three wins have come by two points each, another by three points. A fifth was decided in overtime. In a relative blowout, the Chiefs took the sixth win of the stretch by a touchdown, yet only after a failed onside kick with two minutes left.

We selected Cleveland at +6.5 last week with the suspicion that the Los Angeles Chargers would take K.C. to the limit. Indeed, the Chiefs banked in a field goal at the buzzer to prevail 19-17.

As a result, odds shrinkage continues. FanDuel lists the Browns at +4.5, making the lookahead pick a success.
