NBA Props: Vegas Reveals Projected Win Total For Warriors

All the key pieces appear to be back for the Warriors in 2017-18. Here's how Vegas sees next season playing out for the defending champs.

    The Warriors made history in 2015-16 with a record-setting 73 regular-season wins.

But it was a pair of 67-win regular seasons in 2014-15 and 2016-17 that propelled Golden State to their two recent titles.

With some of the dust beginning to settle from NBA free agency, Vegas sees the Warriors right on track to replicate their regular-season success from the two title seasons.

Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook revealed an updated Over/Under for the Warriors on Monday.

2017-18 Regular Season Wins For The Golden State Warriors:

    Over 66.5 (-110, bet $110 to win $100)
    Under 66.5 (-110)

A few moves in free agency still need to play out, but overall Golden State looks just as good, if not better, for the 2017-18 season.

Steph Curry, as widely expected, is back in the fold with a new record-setting deal. Kevin Durant is also back on a team-friendly deal.

The Warriors splurged and brought back Andre Iguodala at a hefty price, but seemed to get a great deal on point guard Shaun Livingston, who is also returning. Veteran David West, a great depth piece, is even coming back.

CBS SPORTS: LATEST NBA FREE AGENCY RUMORS

Outside of a terrible streak of injuries, there's little reason to think the Warriors will in any way step back next season in terms of overall talent.

The questions, however, center on other factors. With two titles and the regular-season win record already in hand, how much will regular-season games matter on a day-to-day basis next year?

And then there's the factor of an even stronger Western Conference, which features clearly-improved rosters in Houston, Oklahoma City, Minnesota and Denver. Those teams might not be bona fide threats to the Warriors' crown at this point, but they could certainly eat into their regular-season win total.

It might be foolish to bet against arguably the best team ever, but those factors could be enough to lean to the Under, at least for the regular season. Don't expect a different result in the postseason, however.
