After a summer in which plenty of big names changed teams, the NBA returns Tuesday. Things start off with just a two-game slate, but the two matchups are about as good as it gets. The first game will feature the defending champion Denver Nuggets hosting the Los Angeles Lakers. The second game will be the Golden State Warriors hosting the Phoenix Suns.

Although it's just the first night of the season, injuries will play a prominent role. Draymond Green (ankle) has been ruled out, robbing the Warriors of their defensive anchor. Bradley Beal (back) is unlikely to play for the Suns, while they have also listed Devin Booker (toe) as questionable. Based on reports early Tuesday morning, it sounds like Booker will test out his injury before the game and try to play.
