Two of the top teams in the National League collide Monday as the St. Louis Cardinals visit the Atlanta Braves for the opener of their four-game series. St. Louis (44-37) sits in second place in the NL Central, two games behind Milwaukee after suffering a 4-0 loss at Philadelphia on Sunday. Atlanta (46-34) holds the same position in the NL East as it trails the New York Mets by 3 1/2 games following a 4-3 setback at Cincinnati.
