Chris Olave's rookie season was unbelievable. Olave's collegiate teammate, Garrett Wilson, was not quite as efficient on a per-route basis, but it was Wilson who finished with more receiving yards (1,103) and took home the NFL Rookie of the Year honors. And yet Olave and Wilson may not have been the most impressive members of their own collegiate receiving corps. Their former teammate, Jaxson Smith-Njigba, now has a chance to prove himself at the NFL level.

When Wilson, Olave, and Smith-Njigba were all members of the same Ohio State offense in 2021, it was not Wilson or Olave who led the team in receiving. Now set to run routes next to DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett as a member of the Seattle Seahawks, Smith-Njigba will again have to fight for every target. He's already shown that he can produce unbelievable efficiency while filling a secondary role, so should we have any concerns about the 20th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft producing amid a crowded Seattle receiver room?
