Grizzlies vs. Timberwolves line, picks: Advanced computer NBA model releases selections for Thursday's matchup

SportsLine's projection model generated selections for Thursday's game between Memphis and Minnesota

The Memphis Grizzlies (29-14) attempt to extend their franchise-record winning streak to 11 games when they most the Minnesota Timberwolves (20-21) on Thursday. Tipoff at the FedExForum is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET. Memphis is a four-point favorite in the latest Grizzlies vs. Timberwolves odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total points scored is 231 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our NBA odds page).

Before making any Timberwolves vs. Grizzlies picks, you NEED to check out the NBA predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every NBA game 10,000 times and has returned well over $10,000 in profit on its top-rated NBA picks over the past three-plus seasons. The model entered Week 13 of the 2021-22 NBA season on a stunning 52-28 roll on all top-rated NBA picks, returning almost $2,000. Anyone following it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows Memphis is looking to avenge a 138-95 loss at Minnesota on Nov. 20 in which it trailed by as many as 45 points. The Grizzlies likely will accomplish the feat if they perform like they did in their 116-108 home triumph over Golden State on Tuesday, when six players scored in double figures. Ja Morant led the team with 29 points, including the last five of the game, and added eight assists and five rebounds while rookie shooting guard Ziaire Williams set a career high with 17 points.

The model also knows Minnesota is coming off a 128-125 loss at New Orleans on Tuesday that ended its four-game winning streak. Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 28 points and Karl-Anthony Towns added 26 and eight rebounds while D'Angelo Russell recorded his third straight double-double and seventh this season with 18 points and 10 assists. The 25-year-old point guard is third on the team in scoring (18.6 points) and first with an average of seven assists per game.

Now, it has set its sights on Grizzlies vs. Timberwolves. We can tell you the model is leaning Under the total, and it also says one side of the spread has all the value! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any NBA picks.
