Week 1 of the Fantasy football season brought a ton of new surprises, disappointments and questions that still need to be answered.

But before you try and separate fact from fiction after just one week of the NFL season, you need to see what SportsLine Fantasy analyst Davis Mattek has to say.

Mattek has been working in the Fantasy industry since his college days and has contributed to virtually every meaningful publication and website in the industry. He's hosted podcasts with over two million listens and been nominated for several FSWA awards, including Football Writer and Best Podcast.

Now, he's breaking down the action from Week 1 to see what has changed in the Fantasy landscape.

One thing we learned: Minnesota's Dalvin Cook is a bell cow running back.

"There were a lot of rumblings that Cook might be splitting work with Latavius Murray, and almost none of those rumblings came true," Mattek said. "Cook led the backfield by far in snaps, carries and targets, and was only spelled when the game got into double-digits late. The Vikings will be in similar game scripts all year due to their elite defense and overall offensive talent, so; the fact that Cook is their primary back and saw seven targets in the passing game is extremely encouraging moving forward."

Mattek has also identified a player who is an elite Fantasy option at his position, and he may be on your waiver wire right now.
