Week 8 of the Fantasy football season brought a ton of new surprises, disappointments and questions that still need to be answered.

But before you try and separate fact from fiction after the eighth week of the NFL season, you need to see what SportsLine Fantasy analyst Davis Mattek has to say.

Mattek has been working in the Fantasy industry since his college days and has contributed to virtually every meaningful publication and website in the industry. He's hosted podcasts with over two million listens and been nominated for several FSWA awards, including Football Writer and Best Podcast.

Now, he's breaking down the action from Week 8 to see what has changed in the Fantasy landscape.

One thing we learned: Josh Adam has overtaken Corey Clement in Philadelphia.

"Clement's workout metrics make him look like a fullback whereas Adams is fast, has good size and is shifty in small spaces," Mattek said. "Adams had nine carries to lead the team against the Jaguars, and I would expect his role to continue to grow over the next eight games, while Clements' diminishes."

Mattek has also identified a back who was largely an afterthought before the season who is now creeping into the conversation to be a RB1.
