We have finally made it folks! The playoffs in your league should be starting this week or next, and we have the great slate of Thanksgiving games to experience before that time. As much fun as the first 10 weeks of the season are, the last six weeks -- where every decision is magnified -- is what is truly great about this game we play. I hope this column can aid you in making the right waiver wire and start/sit decisions to take home your league title.

Lamar Jackson is a QB1 while starting

Whatever FAAB budget you have left, spend it on Lamar Jackson. Jackson had 27 carries yesterday and completed only 13 of 19 pass attempts, but even without his passing numbers, Jackson would have been a QB1 on the week. Jackson's rush attempts were the most from a QB since the magic Tim Tebow season, and I expect more of the same from Lamar while Joe Flacco recovers from his hip injury. Running QBs prove time and again to be reliable Fantasy assets even if they are not good passers.

D.J. Moore is a Fantasy playoffs starter

Moore's usage over the past month has been a rollercoaster ride, but there are two important things going on: the first is that Moore's snap count has steadily risen over the past month while the usage and snaps for Jarius Wright have gone down, and second, Moore seems to be a stone-cold baller. Devin Funchess is not the most athletic wide receiver, and so he is only able to be used in a few limited ways. Moore can be moved all over the formation, used as a rusher, down the field and in the screen game. I expect him to be ranked as a WR3/flex play for the rest of the season even if there will be a few down weeks.

Keke Coutee is firmly ahead of DT

We might as well call him Dust Thomas at this point. His arrival in Houston has barely been a blip on the Fantasy radar, and Coutee actually led Houston in targets in this contest. There was some thought that the team trading for Thomas was a sign that Coutee was not ready for prime time and would go back to being a bit player while Thomas and Hopkins were the firm starters at WR. This will prove to not be the case as Cottee's multi-faceted game is a better fit for today's NFL than Demaryius' lumbering slant routes that take 3 seconds to develop.

    The Eagles are not good

Yes, they won a Super Bowl last season, but this amalgamation of offensive players and play calling is not going to provide enough explosion to supply Fantasy value for more than Zach Ertz and Alshon Jeffery (and even Alshon is going to be mostly touchdown reliant). The trade for Golden Tate does not seem like an immediate success, and the ground game is discombobulated to say the least. This is a disappointing development for fans of analytics in football because we all wanted Doug Pederson's aggressive approach to be rewarded, but after getting boat raced by the Cowboys and Saints in back to back weeks, it seems as if the Philly system needs some revamping.

Taylor Gabriel should be a top-four round pick next season

The most consistent member of the surprisingly good Bears offense has been ... Taylor Gabriel. Gabriel has thrown up bad games when the Bears were in control of games, and is not the first option in the red zone, but it is clear to me that Matt Nagy really values Gabriel's skill set and in competitive games where the Bears are hard pressed to score points in conventional offensive sets, Gabriel is a pressure-relief valve for Mitch Trubisky. He is being used in a Tyreek Hill-Lite sort of role for Chicago, and he is someone I will want on my Fantasy teams moving forward in Chicago.
