Combate Global picks: MMA insider offers fight predictions, best bets for September 17 card in Miami

Mixed martial arts expert Andrew Gombas has revealed his top selections for Friday's Combate Global card

Combate Global has announced a loaded seven-fight card for Friday, Sept. 17, headlined by former UFC fighter and TUF 3: Latin America winner Martin Bravo in his Combate Global debut against Andrew Whitney. The action will come to you live from Miami and the Combate Global fight card is set to begin at 10:30 p.m. ET. You can stream it live on Paramount+.

Before making any Combate picks, be sure to see what MMA insider Andrew Gombas has to say.

Gombas is a former NCAA wrestler who taps into his experience on the mat to help understand and dissect the X's and O's of MMA matchups in a manner that sets him apart from other analysts. He started the handicapping service MMA Knockout Bets in 2018 and has shown a profit every year since.

With more than 1,200 selections tracked by the third-party monitoring service Bet MMA, he has shown a 10 percent return on investment for his followers. In 2020, $100 bettors who tailed his picks were up $9,200.  Among his recent memorable selections was calling the upset by Brandon Moreno (+200) against Deiveson Figueiredo (-240) for the flyweight title at UFC 263 in June. Anyone who has followed him has seen massive returns.

Now, he's turned his attention to Combate Global on Friday, and locked in his top picks for Bravo vs. Whitney and the rest of the September 17 card. Don't forget you can stream the action on Paramount+ with their must-have Premium Plan!

We can tell you Gombas is picking David Solorzano to beat Ramon Vizcarra via knockout.

"This fight should be fun for as long as it lasts," Gombas said. "Knockout artist David Solorzano takes on BJJ purple belt Ramon Vizcarra. Two of Solorzano's three professional MMA wins have come by first-round knockout. Both of Vizcarra's pro victories have come via guillotine choke. I think Solorzano keeps the fight standing and scores the knockout."

Gombas also has a strong pick for Bravo (11-3) vs. Whitney (15-9) and he is also backing another fighter to win via a "competitive, clear decision!" You ABSOLUTELY need to see his picks before locking in any Combate Global predictions of your own. Don't forget to stream Combate here!
