College football expert picks, predictions, parlay for Week 9, 2021: Barrett Sallee's three best bets
When it comes to college football, there are few who deserve the "expert" tag quite like Barrett Sallee. The CBS Sports writer and analyst hosts shows on SiriusXM College, writes for CBSSports.com and appears regularly on CBS Sports HQ as well as countless radio shows across the nation as a guest.
Sallee debuted with SportsLine in 2017 and has delivered in a BIG way. Over the past two-plus years, he is 92-69 in his popular best bets column. Anybody who has been following him is WAY UP.
Now, he's turned his attention to the Week 9 odds from Caesars Sportsbook (see the latest college football lines for each game this week on our college football odds page) and is revealing his three top plays for Saturday. A parlay on these three picks would return around 6-1.Â
We can tell you Sallee says to back Florida State (+9.5) at Clemson in a 3:30 p.m. ET matchup on Saturday.
"What is there to suggest that the Tigers can muster up enough offense to make this an easy win? Nothing," Sallee said. "The quarterback situation is a mess, they can't block and they're going up against a Seminoles squad that has given up just 354 yards per game in the month of October. Clemson is 0-6 against the spread and that streak will continue this weekend."
Sallee has also found two other college football picks he loves, including a must-see play on a game where he says points won't be flying as much as oddsmakers expect. You ABSOLUTELY need to see who it is before locking in any college football picks.
