CFB: Big Ten Week 11 Projected Final Scores Revealed

Wisconsin may be the lone hope of the Big Ten being part of the College Football Playoff, but can it win out?

Wisconsin is an undefeated Big Ten team, ranked No. 5 in the polls, rolling over any team in its way.

But if the College Football Playoff were to start this week, the Badgers wouldn’t be a part of it. In fact, they’re not really that close to the door.

When it comes to the College Football Playoff, the Big Ten is on the outside looking in, with the top two contenders each knocked off. Wisconsin may be the only hope left for the Big Ten, but the unbeaten can’t get respect thanks mostly to a creampuff schedule.

CBS SPORTS: THE BIG TEN HAS DIVISIONAL PROBLEMS

Wisconsin is ranked No. 8 in the latest playoff ranking, best in the Big Ten after Penn State and Ohio State took losses in the last two weeks.

That doesn’t help the Badgers, whose most impressive win thus far is a win over now-No. 25 Northwestern.

CBS SPORTS: PROJECTIONS FOR WEEK 11 OF THE ACC

If they win out, with games against No. 20 Iowa, Michigan and Minnesota, is that enough? What about a Big Ten Championship game victory over Michigan State, which at this point is how thing would unfold?

The Spartans, who before the season started seemed like the No. 4 in a three-team Big Ten East race between Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State, knocked off the Nittany Lions last Saturday and is 5-1 in the conference.

While Wisconsin has a firm grip on the West, the East will almost surely be decided on Saturday when the No. 12 Spartans travel to Columbus to play the No. 13 Buckeyes, also 5-1 in league play.

OSU has to feel happy to be included in any title talk after getting thrashed 55-24 at Iowa last week. Can it rebound and win the Big Ten? The journey starts Saturday.

As far as the national title picture goes, those dominoes have yet to fall.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulated college football games 10,000 times and came up with final scores and projected player statistics.
