The SportsLine Projection Model, up well over $10,000 on NBA picks over the past five-plus seasons, has locked in its best bets for the second-round battle between the Cavaliers and Celtics on Tuesday

The No. 4 seed Cleveland Cavaliers go on the road to play the No. 1 seed Boston Celtics on Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET. This will be the ninth postseason series between Cleveland and Boston. SportsLine consensus lists Boston as the 12.5-point favorite, while the over/under is 211.5 points (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our NBA odds page).

Before you make any Cavaliers vs. Celtics picks, you NEED to see what the SportsLine Projection Model has to say.

The model knows Boston has three players averaging 21 points or more this postseason, led by shooting guard Jaylen Brown. Brown poured in 25 points, grabbed six rebounds and added two assists in the Game 5 close-out win over Miami on Wednesday. He scored a series-high 33 points and grabbed eight rebounds in a 111-101 Game 2 loss to the Heat on April 24.

The model also knows Cleveland shooting guard Donovan Mitchell had quite the series in the seven-game victory over the Orlando Magic. In seven starts, Mitchell averaged 28.7 points, five rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.4 steals in 37.4 minutes. He scored 23 or more points in five of the seven games, including a 50-point performance in the 103-96 Game 6 loss at Orlando. He nearly registered a double-double in the Game 7 win, a 106-94 triumph on Sunday. In that game, Mitchell scored 39 points, grabbed nine rebounds and added five assists, one block and one steal in a series-high 45 minutes.
