Cavaliers vs. Bulls line, picks: Advanced computer NBA model releases selections for Saturday matchup

SportsLine's projection model generated selections for Saturday's matchup between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Chicago Bulls

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls face off in an Eastern Conference tilt at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday. Chicago is favored by five points at Caesars Sportsbook, while the Over-Under is set at 220 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our NBA odds page).

Before making any Cavaliers vs. Bulls picks, you NEED to check out the NBA predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every NBA game 10,000 times and has returned well over $10,000 in profit for $100 players on its top-rated NBA picks over the past three-plus seasons. The model enters Week 20 of the 2021-22 NBA season on a stunning 74-47 roll on all top-rated NBA picks, returning almost $2,100. Anyone following it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows Cleveland is led by a tremendous defense. The Cavaliers are No. 4 in the NBA in defensive rating, yielding only 1.07 points per possession this season. Cleveland leads the NBA in free-throw attempts allowed, and the Cavaliers are No. 2 in the NBA in 2-point accuracy allowed. From there, Cleveland is in the top six of the league in field-goal percentage allowed and second-chance points allowed, and the Bulls struggle on the offensive glass. Chicago is in the bottom three of the league in offensive rebound rate and second-chance points.

The model also knows the Bulls should benefit from Cleveland's lack of ball security, as the Cavs are in the bottom five of the NBA in turnover avoidance. The Bulls can capitalize with tremendous offense, as Chicago is No. 6 in the NBA in offensive rating, scoring 113.2 points per 100 possessions. The Bulls have the league's second-best true shooting percentage, and Chicago is in the top three of the NBA in field-goal accuracy, 3-point accuracy and free-throw accuracy. The Bulls also rank in the top eight of the NBA in turnovers per game (12.9) and assist-to-turnover ratio, generating 1.87 assists for every giveaway.

Now, it has set its sights on Cavaliers vs. Bulls. We can tell you the model is leaning over the total, and it also says one side of the spread hits in almost 60 percent of simulations! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any NBA picks.
