California vs. Oregon odds, line, spread: Proven model reveals college football picks, predictions for Week 7, 2021, Pac-12 North Division showdown

The SportsLine projection model has a pick for the clash between the California Golden Bears and ninth-ranked Oregon Ducks

The ninth-ranked Oregon Ducks will look to get back on track when they take on the California Golden Bears in a Pac-12 North Division matchup on Friday night. Kickoff from Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon, is set for 10:30 p.m. ET. The Ducks are 4-1 overall and 1-1 in the Pac-12 following a 31-24 overtime loss at Stanford in their last game two weeks ago. The Golden Bears are also coming off a bye and are 1-4 overall and 0-2 in the conference.

The Golden Bears have one of the most-balanced receiving corps in the Pac-12, led by senior wide receiver Nikko Remigio. He has a team-high 18 receptions, including a pair of touchdowns. Remigio had a team-high seven catches in the season opener against Nevada, including a two-yard TD reception. He had six receptions for 81 yards and one touchdown vs. No. 23 Oregon last year.

The Ducks have been one of the nation's top rushing teams so far this season, ranking 27th in FBS with 210.4 rushing yards per game. Junior running back CJ Verdell leads the team with 406 yards rushing on 78 carries (5.2 average) and six touchdowns. However, one of the best backs in school history was lost to a season-ending injury in the Ducks' upset to Stanford. In addition, superstar pass-rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux, very possibly the No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, was ejected for targeting late in the game and thus will miss the first half Friday.

The Ducks are favored by 13.5 points in the latest California vs. Oregon odds from Caesars Sportsbook, and the over-under is set at 53.5. Before entering any California vs. Oregon picks, you'll want to see the college football predictions from the model at SportsLine.
