Butler (14-18) and Providence (24-4) clash in the quarterfinals of the 2022 Big East Tournament on Thursday afternoon at Noon ET. Providence's three-game win streak came to an end in the season finale, falling 76-74 to No. 8 Villanova. Butler outlasted Xavier in the first round, defeating the Musketeers 89-82 in overtime.
