Bulls vs. Hawks line, picks: Advanced computer NBA model releases selections for Monday's matchup

SportsLine's projection model generated selections for Monday's matchup between the Chicago Bulls and the Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks host the Chicago Bulls in a high-profile Eastern Conference tilt at 7:30 p.m. ET on Monday. Chicago is favored by 4.5-points at Caesars Sportsbook, while the Over-Under is set at 211.5 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our NBA odds page). Before making any Bulls vs. Hawks picks, you NEED to check out the NBA predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every NBA game 10,000 times and has returned well over $10,000 in profit on its top-rated NBA picks over the past three-plus seasons. The model enters Week 11 of the 2021-22 NBA season on a stunning 48-24 roll on all top-rated NBA picks, returning almost $2,000. Anyone following it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows the Hawks are flying high on offense. Atlanta is scoring nearly 1.12 points per possession this season, ranking in the top five of the NBA in turnover percentage, assist-to-turnover ratio, three-point accuracy and free throw accuracy. The Hawks are also very good on the defensive glass, allowing opponents to secure only 25.5 percent of their own missed shots, and Atlanta is allowing only 11.8 second-chance points per game. Opponents are also taking only 18.3 free throw attempts per game against the Hawks, boosting efficiency.

The model also knows the Bulls are in the top ten of the NBA in both offensive and defensive rating. Chicago is shooting more than 46 percent from the field, 37 percent from three-point range and 81 percent from the free throw line this season, committing a turnover on fewer than 14 percent of possessions. Chicago also puts pressure on opponents in transition, with the Hawks ranking near the bottom of the league in defensive rating. Defensively, the Bulls are in the top ten in two-point defense, turnover creation and assists allowed, with opponents also making fewer than 12 three-pointers per game against Chicago.

Now, it has set its sights on Bulls vs. Hawks. We can tell you the model is leaning over the total, and it also says one side of the spread hits in almost 60 percent of simulations! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any NBA picks.
