Broncos vs. Chiefs betting preview: Odds, picks, props, trends, injuries, weather, Taylor Swift update and more for Thursday Night Football Week 6

Before you lock in your plays for Thursday's Denver at Kansas City game, check out our full betting preview.

Amazon Prime's Thursday Night Football NFL schedule so far this season had been all NFC matchups, but that changes to kick off Week 6 as the Denver Broncos (1-4) visit the Kansas City Chiefs (4-1) in an AFC West rivalry game. The Chiefs are on a 15-game winning streak in the series that predates Patrick Mahomes' arrival in the NFL.

That run is tied with the New England Patriots' dominance of the New York Jets for the longest such active winning streak by one team over another. It seems very likely to reach 16 straight wins Thursday night considering the state of the Broncos, who appear to be an even bigger mess in 2023 under Sean Payton than they were in 2022 under Nathaniel Hackett. Kansas City will visit Denver in just 17 days (Week 8), surely trying for another season sweep. The longest winning streak by one franchise over another in NFL history was 20 in a row by the Miami Dolphins over the Buffalo Bills from 1970-79.

Let's cut to the chase regarding the only thing that a bunch of people care about Thursday: There is a report from TMZ that Taylor Swift will be in attendance despite her apparent boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, being questionable with an injury. Swift was in Kansas City for the Chiefs' most recent game at Arrowhead Stadium, a Week 3 rout of Chicago. Swift then was in New York for the Chiefs' Week 4 win over the Jets but was not at this past Sunday's 27-20 win at Minnesota. She also reportedly was in K.C. last weekend for Kelce's 34th birthday.

Both games Swift attended did see record TV ratings, so Amazon was planning just in case: "We're preparing just like everybody else did. There's a lot of conversation around it for sure," Danielle Carney, head of NFL ads at Amazon, told AdWeek. "I am a Swiftie, and I'm an NFL fan, so for me it's like the best of both worlds melding together."
