Broncos vs. Bills betting preview: Odds, picks, props, trends, injuries, weather and more for Monday Night Football Week 10 matchup

Before you lock in your plays for Monday's Denver at Buffalo game, check out our full betting preview.

No team in the NFL has had a more dominant three-game stretch this season than the Buffalo Bills (5-4) did from Weeks 2-4, but since then they have alternated losses and wins, most recently losing to in Cincinnati in Week 9. So perhaps that bodes well for a victory on Monday against the visiting and improving Denver Broncos (3-5), who are coming off their bye week. In addition, the Bills are 21-5 in games Josh Allen has started after a loss, the best such winning percentage (.808) in the Super Bowl era.

The last time Buffalo lost back-to-back regular season games was a year to the day: Nov 13th, 2022, when it lost 33-30 at home in overtime to the Vikings a week after losing 20-17 at the Jets. The Bills are a game behind the Miami Dolphins in the AFC East but are ninth overall in the AFC, and would thus miss the playoffs if the season ended today. Now that would be a surprise. Buffalo is -140 to make the playoffs with No at +110. Allen enters with 201 total touchdowns (156 passing, 44 rushing, one receiving) in his five-and-a-half seasons, three behind Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes' record mark of 204 total TDs in his first six NFL campaigns.

Denver's other big advantage Monday -- other than an extra week of rest and preparation -- is that the Broncos don't expect any of their players to miss the game with an injury. How often can a team say that in the NFL?

The team's decision to trade for coach Sean Payton this offseason didn't look all that wise until recently. The Broncos have logged back-to-back wins to salvage some very slim playoff hopes. They're now 3-5 and 14th in the AFC. Denver is -3000 to reach the postseason and +1400 to miss. Thing is, Denver hasn't been winning of late due to Russell Wilson and the offense, which is where Payton's expertise lies, but largely thanks to a defense that was historically bad early on.

One major player link between these franchises is future Hall of Fame linebacker Von Miller, formerly of Denver and now with Buffalo. It's his first game against the Broncos.
