Baltimore Ravens 2022 futures: Super Bowl odds, win total picks, best bets, schedule and more
After a successful three-year stretch of playoff appearances, the Ravens missed the postseason in 2021 due to a midseason Lamar Jackson injury from which they simply couldn't recover from. Having traded away top receiver Marquise Brown to Arizona on draft night, Baltimore finds themselves with a healthy Jackson but no established wide receivers to complement star tight end Mark Andrews. They were able to add a new center (Tyler Linderbaum) and safety (Kyle Hamilton) in the first round of April's draft but barring some late free agency movement, Baltimore will have to rely heavily once again on their rushing attack. J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards return from preseason season-ending injuries to spearhead the usually-dynamic Ravens rushing attack.
Baltimore opens the first four weeks by facing all four of the AFC East teams but the team's main goal should be to achieve at least five wins in their first nine games before the bye week. Though their second half schedule is more heavily focused on divisional opponents, it also tends to be more favorable with the likes of Carolina, Atlanta, and Jacksonville on the slate.Â
Caesars Sportsbook's Ravens win total is tough to judge at 9.5 as nine to eleven wins seems to be a solid floor and ceiling for this team. With Deshaun Watson's status unclear for the Browns and the Steelers likely rebuilding, it appears to be between Baltimore and last year's AFC Champion, Cincinnati, for the AFC North crown (+150 odds). Considering that the AFC is stacked though, betting them to win the conference seems unlikely, especially at the less than generous +1100. A playoff appearance for John Harbaugh's team is more likely than not so -140 might be the Ravens' best bet.Â
