Auburn vs. Texas A&M line, picks: Advanced computer college football model releases selections for SEC West matchup

SportsLine's projection model generated selections for Saturday's matchup between the Texas A&M Aggies and Auburn Tigers

The 13th-ranked Auburn Tigers and 14th-ranked Texas A&M Aggies meet in a key SEC on CBS matchup on Saturday. Kickoff from Kyle Field in College Station, Texas, is set for 3:30 p.m. ET. Texas A&M is favored by 4.5 points at Caesars Sportsbook, while the Over-Under is set at 49.5 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our college football odds page).

Before making any Auburn vs. Texas A&M picks, you NEED to check out the college football predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every FBS college football game 10,000 times. Over the past five-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated a stunning profit of almost $3,700 for $100 players on its top-rated college football picks against the spread. It also enters Week 10 of the 2021 season on a 28-15 run on all top-rated college football side picks. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows junior running back Isaiah Spiller has remained as one of the Aggies' most consistent performers, and ranks fourth in the SEC with 761 yards rushing on the season, averaging 95.13 yards per game. He has rushed over 100 yards in five games this season and in 15 in his career. In A&M's last game on Oct. 23, he carried 18 times for 102 yards (5.7 average) and a score. He is tied with Cyrus Gray (2003-06) for the most 100-yard rushing games by an Aggie since 1996.

The model also knows Tigers junior quarterback Bo Nix is a dual-threat. He leads the Tigers in passing, completing 150 of 241 passes (62.2 percent) for 1,764 yards and nine touchdowns. He has been picked off twice, but has a 134.4 rating. He is also third on the team in rushing, carrying 48 times for 189 yards (3.9 average) and four touchdowns. In last Saturday's win over No. 10 Ole Miss, he completed 22 of 30 passes (73.3 percent) for 276 yards and one touchdown. Nix also rushed eight times for 30 yards and two touchdowns.

Now, it has set its sights on Auburn vs. Texas A&M. We can tell you the model is leaning Under on the total, and it also says one side of the spread hits more than 50 percent of the time! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any college football picks.
