76ers vs. Celtics Tuesday NBA playoffs Game 5 odds, trends, props: Bettors leaning Philly on spread, heavy action on Jaylen Brown to score at least 25 points

The Eastern Conference semifinals between the Sixers and Celtics is tied 2-2 entering Game 5.

Boston Celtics All-Star guard Jaylen Brown wasn't thrilled that he got just three shot attempts during the fourth quarter of Boston's 116-115 overtime loss in Philadelphia in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. "I guess I got to demand the ball a little bit more," Brown told reporters afterward. Game 5 of the tied series is back in Boston tonight, and bettors at BetMGM are leaning Sixers +7.5 but also crushing the Over on Brown's point total. Click here for model picks.

The Celtics are trying to avoid taking back-to-back losses for the first time this postseason. Following their past three defeats, they twice beat Atlanta by eight points and waxed Philadelphia by 34 in Game 2. Yet at -7.5 tonight, only 34% of the action and 40% of the money is on the Celtics at the book. The total has dropped from 214.5 points to 213.5, with 82% of the bets and 71% of the money on the Over. At +240 on the moneyline, the Sixers are taking 67% ofthe  bets and 47% of the money.

Game 4 was a lot like Game 1 for Brown, as he attempted only 10 shots and seven of those came in the first quarter, in which he scored 14 points. He finished with 23. Boston lost both games. Brown is averaging 23.5 points per game in the Eastern semifinals, shooting 57.4% from the floor and 40.9% from deep. Those are great numbers, but he's averaging 15.3 field goal attempts per game compared to 20.6 attempts during the regular season.

There has been growing concern that perhaps Brown isn't fond of playing in Jayson Tatum's shadow and might look to sign elsewhere when he hits free agency after next summer if the Celtics aren't able to lock up him long term. Brown was also perturbed last offseason when Boston reportedly offered him in a trade to Brooklyn for Kevin Durant.

Brown Over 24.5 points at -105 is the most-wagered player prop tonight, with 99% of the tickets on the Over. Also popular: Boston's Malcolm Brogdon Over 14.5 points (-125), and Tatum Over 14.5 rebounds and assists (-115). Brogdon has topped that number in each game of the series, while Tatum has topped his total in three of the four.

The Sixers are listing Joel Embiid as questionable but it would be a huge upset if he doesn't play. He's set at over/under 28.5 points. The magic number for Embiid's team to win is 115, as Philly has won nine straight playoff games when they score at least 115 points (2-0 in this series).
