It is a quick turnaround for the PGA Tour this week as the 2025 Farmers Insurance Open is set to tee off. Once again beginning on Wednesday and going through Saturday due to the NFL playoffs, the Farmers Insurance Open will welcome a strong field to the La Jolla cliffs.

While players such as Xander Schauffele and Collin Morikawa have pulled out of the field for various reasons, Hideki Matsuyama has held pat. The recent Sentry winner aims to capture his fourth victory since the start of the 2024 season and should love his chances this week given his run of form at Torrey Pines.

Matsuyama is joined by Ludvig Åberg, Tony Finau, Sungjae Im and Will Zalatoris, who all hope to snap a prolonged winless streak of their own. 

Keegan Bradley continues to play stellar golf and comes into the Farmers Insurance Open with a pair of top-15 finishes in Hawaii. The Ryder Cup captain could play his way onto the team and a win this week in San Diego would certainly help the cause. 

Native Californians such as Akshay Bhatia, Sahith Theegala, Maverick McNealy and former tournament winner Max Homa round out the action at Torrey Pines.
