We're back. The PGA Tour returns for the 2024 season at its usual stomping grounds, the Plantation Course at Kapalua, for the 2024 Sentry. No longer exclusively for champions from the season prior, The Sentry will welcome 59 players to the par-73, all of whom have eyes on kicking off the new year in emphatic fashion.

The field is led by none other than world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler. Fresh off a victory at the Hero World Challenge, Scheffler looks to add additional hardware to his trophy case in his first start of 2024. Coming off a historic season from tee to green, Scheffler must feel like the wins will come in droves over the next 12 months if he is able to solve the riddle with the flat stick.

He did so at the Hero World Challenge and is listed as the favorite at +550. Viktor Hovland, the man who usurped Scheffler at the 2023 Tour Championship, begins the year second in the betting odds. The Norwegian became one of the best players in the world last year and has ideas on adding tournament titles to his résumé.

Collin Morikawa, Max Homa, Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele are among the players making yet another trip to Hawaii while the likes of Rickie Fowler, Jason Day and Tommy Fleetwood head west for the first time in a while.
