2024 Kansas City Chiefs futures picks: Breaking down win totals, Super Bowl odds, schedule, depth chart and more

We start getting you ready for the 2024 NFL season with our early analysis of the Kansas City Chiefs odds and futures picks

Another year, another Super Bowl title for the Kansas City Chiefs, who shook off a somewhat disappointing regular season that ended with them falling short of their win total of 11.5. In a reversal of history, it was actually the defense that led the Chiefs to what success they had during the season, finishing second in points allowed versus 15th in points scored, a stunning number for a team with a healthy Patrick Mahomes at quarterback. Once the postseason started, the Chiefs turned it on, steamrolling the Dolphins before hitting the road to beat the Bills in a shootout and the Ravens in a defensive slugfest, then winning the first overtime Super Bowl in history.

With back-to-back titles secured, the Chiefs immediately started talking about a three-peat on stage following the final Super Bowl whistle, and the focus appeared to be better filling out the receiving corps after two years getting by in the post-Tyreek Hill world. That first meant bringing in Marquise Brown, who has seemed stretched as a No. 1 weapon but has had plenty of success in the past as a WR2, then drafting Xavier Worthy, who broke the combine 40-yard dash record. We'll see how the Chiefs get the ball in his hands and utilize his breakaway speed, but the potential is there to bring the Hill element back to the offense.

The defense will have to overcome the loss of L'Jarius Sneed after the team traded him to the Titans rather than give him a market deal to keep him long term in Kansas City. Steve Spagnuolo has done an excellent job developing young secondary talent over the last few years, an underrated success story in the path to consecutive titles, and he'll have to do it again with Sneed no longer in the fold. But the target for figuring that out is likely the AFC Championship Game, which Kansas City has reached in all six seasons since Mahomes took over the offense.

Below, we'll go through the futures and win total markets for the 2024 Kansas City Chiefs, sharing recently updated odds from major U.S. and Nevada sportsbooks as well as the SportsLine Projection Model forecast for each betting market.
