Hideki Matsuyama was without his usual caddie and coach this week but it didn't matter in the end, as he withstood a stern challenge from Xander Schauffele and Viktor Hovland to win the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis. Now the FedExCup Playoffs have been whittled down to the top 50 players, who have also qualified for all of the Signature Events on Tour next season. In the second of three playoff weeks, the PGA Tour heads to Castle Pines Golf Club in Colorado for the BMW Championship. This par-72 layout plays at a staggering 8,130 yards, with three of the par-5s playing over 600 yards. The 50 players will compete for a purse of $20 million, with the winner taking home a $3.6 million first prize. 

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is the +320 favorite followed by the player directly behind him in the FedExCup Standings, Xander Schauffele, (+600), Rory McIlroy (+1200), Collin Morikawa (+1400), with last week's winner, Hideki Matsuyama, and last year's FedExCup champion, Viktor Hovland, at +1600 odds.

Even though he took nearly a month off after collapsing down the stretch at the U.S. Open, McIlroy has lost strokes putting in each of his last four events, including nearly eight on the greens in Memphis."
