2024 Australian Open women's odds, picks: Zheng vs. Yastremska semifinals best bets and predictions from proven expert

Tennis betting expert Jose Onorato, who is 128-90-7 -- up 69.25 units -- since 2022, has released his picks for the 2024 Australian Open semifinal match between Quinwen Zheng and Dayana Yastremska

A pair of underdogs square off when 15th-ranked Quinwen Zheng of China will face 93rd-ranked Dayana Yastremska of Ukraine in the semifinals on Thursday. Yastremska, who is making her first appearance in a Grand Slam semifinal, is 10-2 all-time at the Australian Open. Zheng, who reached the quarterfinals of the U.S. Open in 2023, made it to the second round in each of the previous two Australian Opens.

First serve at Rod Laver Arena is scheduled for 3:30 a.m. ET. Zheng is the -225 favorite (risk $225 to win $100) in the latest Zheng vs. Yastremska odds, while Yastremska is a +175 underdog. The over/under for total games in the match is 21.5, with Zheng favored by 3.5 games.

Before you make any Zheng vs. Yastremska picks or 2024 Australian Open predictions, you NEED to see what tennis expert Jose Onorato has to say.

Onorato grew up playing competitive tennis in Caracas, Venezuela. After coming to the U.S., he trained with famed coach Nick Bollettieri at IMG Academy in Florida and faced players like Robert Farah, now one of the world's top-ranked doubles players.

Onorato, who holds dual degrees in finance and economics from the University of Miami, does extensive research before placing any tennis bets. He studies current form, players' tendencies on a particular surface, weather conditions and many other relevant factors. That systematic approach has helped Onorato go 128-90-7 -- up 69.25 units -- since 2022!

The expert knows Sabalenka cruised past 2021 French Open champion Barbora Krejcikova 6-2, 6-3 to become just the second woman (Chris Evert) to win the first eight Grand Slam quarterfinal matches of her career. The 25-year-old Belarusian also joined Jennifer Capriati and Serena Williams as the only women this century to reach the semifinals in six consecutive major tournaments. Since being upset by 2020 Australian Open champ Sofia Kenin in the first round at Wimbledon last year, Gauff has won 12 straight Grand Slam matches. The 19-year-old American began this event with four straight-set victories before outlasting Marta Kostyuk 7-6 (8-6), 6-7 (3-7), 6-2 in the quarterfinals.

Now, Onorato has scrutinized the Zheng vs. Yastremska matchup in the women's semifinals of the 2024 Australian Open and released his coveted top picks. You ABSOLUTELY need to see what they are before locking in any 2024 Australian Open picks of your own!
