2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am odds, picks, Fantasy golf power rankings: PGA Tour predictions and best bets for this week's event from golf expert
The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, the second signature event of the 2024 PGA Tour season, takes place this week and features another $20 million payout for the pros. A limited field of 80 players will take part in this no-cut event, with the first two rounds alternating between Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill Golf Course. Usually the pro-am portion takes place during all four rounds but due to the nature of this event, it's been cut in half and only the professionals will play over the weekend. Frenchman Matthieu Pavon became the fourth consecutive outright winner of more than +10000 when he took down the Famers Insurance Open, but with the Tour's best all in action this weekend, another long shot seems less likely.
With the biggest names in golf playing for $20 million in purse money, who can you trust for your AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Fantasy golf picks? Before you set your AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am 2024 Fantasy golf lineups or make any PGA Tour bets, you NEED to see the Fantasy golf rankings from Fantasy expert Eric Cohen.
Cohen is an avid golf bettor who correctly predicted the pre-tournament outright winner of the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic (Rickie Fowler +1400), 2023 PGA Championship (Brooks Koepka +2000), 2023 Honda Classic (Chris Kirk +3500), 2022 Open Championship (Cameron Smith +2200), 2022 U.S. Open (Matt Fitzpatrick +2500), and 2022 Phoenix Open (Scottie Scheffler's first career victory at +2800).Â
Eric is a contributor to SportsLine's YouTube shows including "Early Edge" and is the host of "The Early Wedge" golf show (live on Tuesday, 1/30 at 7:00 p.m. ET). Anyone who has followed Cohen's predictions has made positive gains on their golf picks.
Now, Cohen has studied the field set to play in Northern California and revealed his AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Fantasy golf rankings.Â
We can tell you he is backing Matt Fitzpatrick at +3300 saying, "Another common theme among courses where he thrives are small green complexes. Pebble Beach, Harbour Town, and The Country Club (site of the 2022 U.S. Open) have the smallest greens the professionals have seen and Fitzpatrick has won recently at the latter two."
On the other hand, Cohen is fading World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler at +800 odds. "I'm down on the World No. 1's chances to win this week. He's only played here once, a missed cut in the 2019 U.S. Open, and his putting numbers haven't seemed to improve much from last season. He's lost strokes on the greens in seven of his last eight tournaments, including both at The Sentry and The American Express in January."
Cohen also is backing several underdogs in his 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Fantasy golf picks, including a HUGE longshot who comes in at 150-1! If this player can pull off a stunning result, it would bring a HUGE payoff and be a valuable piece for AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Fantasy golf lineups. You ABSOLUTELY need to see who it is before locking in any fantasy golf picks.
