The 2023 USFL season will continue this weekend with eight teams competing from a pair of Midwestern hub cities. USFL Week 4 begins with a Saturday doubleheader from Ford Field in Detroit as the Houston Gamblers face the Philadelphia Stars at 1 p.m. ET followed by the Memphis Showboats vs. Michigan Panthers at 7:30 p.m. ET. On Sunday there is a doubleheader at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio as the New Orleans Breakers take on the New Jersey Generals at 3 p.m. ET followed by Birmingham Stallions vs. Pittsburgh Maulers at 6:30 p.m. ET. "The Maulers got their first red zone touchdown of the season last weekend, but let's not let that overshadow the fact that their offense still has struggles in that capacity," Hunt said. "Quarterback Troy Williams helped give them a steady hand, but more productivity is needed. I love their defense and how they get after it, but more is needed from the other side of the ball. I'm willing to look at last week's loss by Birmingham as an anomaly on defense. Expect a much better effort this time around."
