The 2023 USFL season will continue this weekend with eight teams competing from three different hub cities across the United States. USFL Week 3 will begin on Saturday with a matchup between undefeated squads in New Orleans Breakers vs. Birmingham Stallions at 12:30 p.m. ET followed by the Memphis Showboats vs. Houston Gamblers at 7 p.m. ET. On Sunday there is a doubleheader in Detroit as the Pittsburgh Maulers will take on the Philadelphia Stars at 12 p.m. ET and then the New Jersey Generals face the Michigan Panthers at 4 p.m. ET. Before locking in any Week 3 USFL bets, you definitely want to see what SportsLine football expert Emory Hunt has to say.

"Arguably the best collection of tailbacks will be in this game, and we should be treated to a stellar battle between the two," Hunt said. "I look for this to be a lower scoring game, as both defenses seem to have done a solid job overall from a situational football perspective. It'll have to come down to the passing game, and it's hard for me to get a grasp on how Mike Reilly will deploy his two-quarterback system this week. I don't think he's gotten the rhythm down to a science just yet. Michigan's debut at home will be a good one for the fans to witness."
