After an eventful Ryder Cup saw Europe claim a victory for the eighth time in the event's last 11 playings, the PGA Tour returns to action with its FedEx Cup Fall at the 2023 Sanderson Farms Championship. Only one player from the 24 that teed it up at Marco Simone Golf and Country Club will make the trip from Rome to Jackson, Mississippi -- Ludvig Aberg. The 23-year-old headlines the betting action, but he may very well withdraw due to fatigue before Thursday comes around.

Bettors should take notice as lines will shift and the betting board will see a new name atop it. Defending champion Mackenzie Hughes will be in the field as he is in good position to qualify for the first two signature events of the new year. The Canadian claimed victory a season ago after being snubbed for the Presidents Cup in a playoff in favor of Sepp Straka.

Rookie of the Year candidate Eric Cole tees it up once again as one of two players to finish inside the top 50 in the FedEx Cup in this field. Cole played excellently in 2023 and carried his form into the fall when he finished inside the top five at the Fortinet Championship.
