Friday, June 30 is a prominent day on the 2023 NBA calendar. At 6:00 p.m. ET, free agency officially begins in the league, with a great deal of player movement sure to follow. A lot of business has already been done during the offseason, with Bradley Beal heading to Phoenix, Chris Paul moving to San Francisco, John Collins redirecting to Salt Lake City, and Kristaps Porzingis finding a new home in Boston. In addition, the 2023 NBA Draft placed Victor Wembanyama in San Antonio, Scoot Henderson in Portland, and Brandon Miller in Charlotte with the usual bevy of trade activity.

In the lead up to the doors opening on free agency, we've taken a glance at the team needs in both the Eastern Conference and Western Conference.
