2023 Mexico Open at Vidanta odds, predictions: Picks and best bets for this week's PGA Tour event from golf insider

Golf betting and fantasy expert Sia Nejad has broken down this week's 2023 Mexico Open in Nuevo Vallarta and locked in his predictions and best bets

World No. 1 Jon Rahm headlines the field for the 2023 Mexico Open, which is set to tee off Thursday at Vidanta Vallarta. Rahm won his only PGA Tour title of last season at the Mexico Open, but he has won four times this year and comes in as the Masters champion. Tony Finau was among a trio that finished one stroke back, and he is one of the few other stars in the Mexico Open field. Nine of the world's top 100 players are scheduled to compete this week.

Rahm is the clear +290 favorite in Caesars Sportsbook's latest Mexico Open odds, with Finau listed as the +850 second choice. Wyndham Clark (+2100) is the only other golfer priced shorter than 30-1 on the Mexico Open 2023 odds board, and he is followed by Gary Woodland (+3200), Nicolai Hojgaard (+3400) and Maverick McNealy (+3400).

Before you consider any 2023 Mexico Open picks, make sure you check out the Mexico Open 2023 predictions and best bets from golf betting and fantasy expert Sia Nejad.

Nejad specializes in betting and DFS in golf, among other sports. He's had incredible success in the outright market, first-round leader market and betting head-to-head matchups. In 2022, he hit six first-round leaders in a 12-week span while peppering in tournament outrights throughout the year. In 2023, Sportsline debuted "The Early Wedge," and in the first three months of the show, he hit two FRLs and three outright winners. Nejad also had a winning head-to-head record in eight of 10 weeks (including full tournament sweeps on head-to-head plays). He was up more than 70 units over that three-month span.

Now, Nejad has scoured the 2023 RBC Heritage field for the best value and locked in his best bets and favorites to avoid. One thing we can tell you is that Nejad is fading McNealy, who has been in poor form most of the season. In addition, Vidanta is "simply not a good course fit" for the 27-year-old, Nejad says.

Instead, Nejad is jumping on a few underdogs, including one MASSIVE longshot who comes in at odds well over 60-1! This golfer hits a lot of greens and is among the best players in this field off the tee, so he should be a contender. If this player can pull off a STUNNING victory, anyone who backs him would cash in HUGE! You ABSOLUTELY need to see who it is before locking in any 2023 Mexico Open picks of your own!

So which 2023 Mexico Open players should you target or avoid? And which golfer in the Mexico Open 2023 field could bring a MASSIVE payday of well over 60-1? ...
