2023 FIFA Women's World Cup France vs. Morocco odds, picks, predictions: Best bets for Tuesday's match from proven soccer expert

SportsLine soccer expert Brandt Sutton has locked in his 2023 Women's World Cup picks for the matchup between France and Morocco

It looks like a lopsided showdown Tuesday in the Round of 16 at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup when Morocco take on France in Adelaide, Australia. The French are the fifth-ranked team in the world and winners of Group F, while the 72nd-ranked Moroccans finished second in Group H. Morocco were throttled 6-0 by Germany in their opener but won their matches with Colombia and South Korea. France drew with Jamaica and beat Brazil and Panama. The winner advances to face the winner of Mondays match between Denmark and tournament co-host Australia.

The match is set to kick off at 7 a.m. ET at Coopers Stadium. France are strong -800 favorites (risk $800 to win $100) in the latest France vs. Morocco odds, with Morocco +1750 underdogs. A 90-minute draw is priced at +650 and the over/under for total goals scored is 3.5. (For more soccer coverage, click here.)

Before you bet on Morocco vs. France or make any other 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup predictions, you must see what SportsLine's soccer expert Brandt Sutton has to say.

Sutton, a former collegiate soccer player, has been SportsLine's top soccer editor for nearly five years. He has followed soccer closely for much longer and factors in managerial tactics, projected lineups and past performances to make the most-informed decisions possible, keeping his finger on the pulse of the game all over the globe.

Sutton was SportsLine's top soccer expert in 2022 with a 165-130-2 mark, returning nearly $2,200 for $100 players. He is 19-17 over his past 36 soccer picks overall and was 14-8-1 on his Champions League picks in 2023.

Sutton knows France are vastly superior to Morocco on paper. Their only loss in 2023 (7-2-1) was a 1-0 setback to World Cup co-host Australia in Melbourne before this tournament began. After a disappoinment against the Jamaicans, when Les Bleues held the ball for 73% of the match, they scored eight goals in the next two games. Eugenie Le Sommer, the nation's all-time leading scorer, got her a 90th goal against Brazil, and Kadidiatou Diani had a hat trick against Panama.

The expert also has considered that Morocco have been impressive in the tournament so far. They rebounded from the serious setback against Germany by not allowing a shot on target against South Korea. Ibtissam Jraidi scored the goal  in the 1-0 victory, giving her 13 in 40 international matches. Anissa Lahmari scored as Morocco won by the same score against Colombia, another top-25-ranked side. The Lionesses put six of their eight shots on target against Colombia.

Sutton has taken an in-depth look at the Morocco vs. France matchup and made his picks. He is leaning Over the goal total and has locked in his CONFIDENT best bet! You ABSOLUTELY need to see his picks and analysis before making any selections of your own.
