A weaker-than-expected PGA Tour field is on hand for this week's 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, but that just means that many unheralded golfers can seize an opportunity. Three-time major winner Jordan Spieth and 2022 U.S. Open champion Matt Fitzpatrick lead the 156-player field. The same number of celebrities and high rollers will join them to play across three courses on California's Monterey Peninsula starting Thursday. Tom Hoge will be back to defend his title after going 19 under to beat Spieth by two strokes last year.     

Caesars Sportsbook lists Spieth as the 9-1 favorite in its latest 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am odds. Fitzpatrick (10-1) and Viktor Hovland (10-1) are right behind, followed by Maverick McNealy (16-1), Hoge (17-1) and Seamus Power (19-1).
