2023 Arkansas Razorbacks win total betting strategy: Sam Pittman hoping K.J. Jefferson has more heroics in store
2022 felt like a bit of a regression in Fayetteville after Sam Pittman's Razorbacks finished 2021 9-4 and throttled Penn State in the Outback Bowl. It marked a quick rebuild for Arkansas under Pittman, a career assistant who was tasked with picking up the pieces from the failed Chad Morris regime. Part of the downturn last season can be traced to the brief absence of quarterback K.J. Jefferson, who missed two games entirely and played with a hurting shoulder in another -- all games that Arkansas lost.Â
Pittman needed a new offensive coordinator after Kendal Briles was lured to TCU, so he inked Dan Enos, in for a second stint in Fayetteville. Indeed, there was quite a bit of shuffling on a staff that brings in six new assistants for 2023 after defensive coordinator Barry Odom also left town for the head coaching gig at UNLV...
